Theuns is the salon coordinator at Keratin Lab, known for his dedication to ensuring every client has a smooth and enjoyable experience. Originally from Limpopo, Theuns has been living in Cape Town for the past 12 years, and he brings his passion for design and aesthetics to the salon every day. He is currently studying architecture, which perfectly complements his love for creating beautiful, functional spaces.

Theuns is also the heart of the coffee bar at Keratin Lab, making sure that each client enjoys a warm cup of coffee and feels at home during their visit. He has a love for cakes and is an excellent baker, often surprising the team with his delicious creations. Theuns is always ready to help, whether it's assisting the stylists with something in the salon or running errands to ensure everything runs smoothly.

He has a special place in his heart for dogs, and is the proud owner of two French Bulldogs. Theuns' love for animals, design, and hospitality shines through in everything he does, making him an integral part of the Keratin Lab experience.

Meghan is a stylist with 8 years of hands-on experience in the hair industry. Born and raised in Cape Town, she studied at Hair Aid Academy where she completed an intensive hairdressing course, followed by specialised training in colour, highlights, and balayage with L'Oréal. Meghan is a well-rounded stylist but has recently discovered a passion for extensions, becoming qualified in Easihair Pro extensions, now going into her third year. She is known for her ability to perfectly synchronise treatments, colours, cuts, and extensions, ensuring her clients achieve and maintain beautiful results while educating them on proper aftercare.

Known for her big personality and approachable nature, Meghan loves involving her clients in every step of their consultation. She listens to truly understand their needs, with a core focus on keeping hair healthy. Meghan's philosophy is that healthy hair always comes first, and she works tirelessly to ensure her clients leave the salon feeling fabulous.

Tasneem is a stylist with 16 years of experience in the hair industry. She began her journey in 2009 at the College of Cape Town, where she studied hair and makeup, graduating in 2011. During her studies, Tasneem was awarded the Top Practical Achiever in 2010 and again in 2011. She also earned second place in a volume and lift competition and third place in a L'Oréal retail competition.

Tasneem's specialties include colours, cutting, and styling. To keep up with the constantly evolving trends, she has undergone intensive training at the L'Oréal head office in Johannesburg, covering colour keys, colour change, colour correction, and balayage. She has also had years of ongoing intensive training in Toni & Guy's precision cutting techniques and is currently expanding her skills in barbering and fades.

For Tasneem, hair is both her passion and profession, and her goal is for every client to receive outstanding service from the moment they arrive until they leave the salon.

Janice is a dedicated stylist with 13 years of experience and a strong passion for hair. She is currently in her final year of studying hair at the College of Cape Town. Janice started her journey as an apprentice in boutique salons, where she developed her passion for quality hair care and services.

Throughout her education, Janice has received multiple awards for both practical and theoretical achievements, and she continues to expand her knowledge in various treatments, haircuts, colours, and highlights. Janice is committed to growing her client base in The Keratin Lab and providing exceptional service, ensuring that each client feels confident and satisfied with their hair.

Tharwa is a stylist with 11 years of experience in the industry. Born and raised in Cape Town, she studied hair and makeup at the College of Cape Town. Tharwa specialises in treatments, cutting, and colour, but her true passion lies in treatments, where she finds joy in seeing the transformation and happiness of her clients.

Known for her friendly and kind nature, Tharwa takes the time to listen and understand her clients' needs, always striving to provide the best possible results. Her focus is on maintaining healthy hair, and she loves nothing more than seeing a happy client leave her chair with a smile.

Nic is the founder of Keratin Lab, with over 23 years of experience in the hair industry. His journey began in 2001, driven by a passion for healthy hair and a desire to bring specialised treatments to clients. In 2012, Nic started offering home visits, providing keratin treatments to clients in the comfort of their own homes, and eventually expanded to importing and distributing the Mycro Keratin brand to salons across South Africa.

In 2018, Nic opened Keratin Lab as a retail salon, focusing on keratin treatments and personalised hair care. With a commitment to innovation and continuous learning, Nic pursued an MPhil in Inclusive Innovation at the UCT Graduate School of Business, focusing on Social Change and Innovation. Today, Nic leads the talented team at Keratin Lab and is available exclusively for appointments on Saturdays, offering an elite and personalised experience to clients who value his expertise
